25 Weeks!

How Far Along: 25 weeks, 5 days
Weight Gain: Probably anywhere from 10-15 lbs.
Maternity Clothes: Still going back and forth. If I wear my regular jeans I just use a belly band. Leggings and over sized shirts are my preference these days.
Best Moment This Week: Getting to lay out for a little bit and watch Nova play in the sprinkler.
Gender: Baby girl, Olivia Jade!
Movement: Oh yeas! All the time. She's kicking noticeably harder and you can see her move now.
Food Cravings: Cherry Limeades and Mexican
Food Aversions: None
What I Miss: Being able to look cute and not have to really think about my outfits.
Sleep: Getting better. My hips still hurt on which ever side I am laying on. It wakes me up and I have to switch sides all night long.
What I'm Looking Forward To: Getting to see baby girl this week again!
Belly Button: Flat

24 Weeks {6 Months Down, 3 Months To Go}

How Far Along: 24 weeks, 5 days
Weight Gain: Probably somewhere around 10 lbs.
Maternity Clothes: Every now and then. Lately I've been wearing a lot of dresses and leggings with over sized shirts which are definitely what I am preferring at this point.
Best Moment This Week: Getting to see my best friend. It's been way too long and it was the first time she's seen the baby bump.
Gender: Girl, Olivia Jade!
Movement: Oh yeah! She's most active late at night and early in the mornings when I'm driving to work.
Food Cravings: Taco Bell (I know, gross but that's seriously what I've been craving.)
Food Aversions: None
What I Miss: Sleeping comfortably.
Sleep: It's still rough but I'm getting used to not getting a whole lot at night. I've been taking more naps again on the weekends which has seemed to help with fatigue.
What I'm Looking Forward To: I only have two short weeks left to work and I'm taking a week and a half vacation. I'm so excited to start decorating her nursery. I've been trying to get a lot of it purchased so I'll have my vacation to mess around with it.
Belly Button: In, it's really soft and sometimes sore but it's still in.

23 Weeks!

How Far Along: 23 weeks, 5 days
Weight Gain: I'm guessing close to 10 lbs. now.
Maternity Clothes: I alternate but I wish I could find some more maternity clothes that I really liked. That seems to be the hardest part of actually finding cute things that are my style.
Best Moment This Week: We had a day date Friday to Memphis and it was so nice. We went to the Nike outlet, the new Bass Pro, and the Grizzlies vs. Warriors Game 6 of the playoffs. It was so fun and just what I needed.
Gender: Girl!!!
Movement: Yes, I started tracking my kicks last weekend. It's kind of stressful though because if she doesn't kick at the same times every day it makes me nervous. But she always eventually gets her 10 kicks everyday.
Food Cravings: Mexican and Nerds slush
Food Aversions: None
What I Miss: My body not hurting. I need her to move off my sciatic nerve because the pain is ridiculous.
Sleep: I sleep fine while I'm asleep but if I ever wake up I can feel every little ache and pain my body is going through. I dread waking up in the mornings because my body hurts so bad.
What I'm Looking Forward To: Our next appointment.
Belly Button: Still in, but trying to spread out.

Since Bradley is switching jobs at the end of the month we aren't going to be able to go any where for a baby moon. So we loaded up Friday morning and headed to Memphis for the day. Other than being an extremely long day, it was great! We went to the Nike outlet where we found Baby Liv her first pair of Air Jordans and basketball. Then we went to the new Bass Pro which is HUGE. Then we headed over to the Grizzlies game. So Bradley is an avid Spurs fan and I have always loved the Bulls and D-Rose. However; I was beyond excited that Stephen Curry won MVP this year and I was so stoked about seeing him play. He's pretty much my favorite player now and I hope they win the championship this year.

22 Weeks!

How Far Along: 22 Weeks, 5 days
Weight Gain: 8 lbs.
Maternity Clothes: Still sometimes. I try to wear my regular pants as much as I can with a belly band.
Best Moment This Week: Getting the nursery furniture in and setting it up.
Gender: Girl!!!
Movement: She's moving so much more now. I was at work this past Wednesday and as I was doing therapy I thought I noticed my shirt moving every now and then. So I sat there and just stared at my belly for about 5 minutes and I actually saw her kicking my stomach. It was so incredible and even though the kicks sometimes catch me off guard and I'm not real used to them yet, I absolutely love that feeling.
Food Cravings: Mexican food and sweets!
Food Aversions: None
What I Miss: I'm pretty sure she's laying on my sciatic nerve and I haven't had relief from the pain in over a week.
Sleep: Still tossing and turning all night due to hip pain.
What I'm Looking Forward To: Working on her nursery.
Belly Button: It's still in but it's trying really hard to poke out.

My brother graduated from undergrad on Saturday and I just wanted to document how proud I am of him and what an accomplishment this milestone is. He has one more year of basketball and he is going to complete his grad program during this next year as well!

21 Weeks!

How Far Along: 21 Weeks!
Weight Gain: 8 lbs.
Maternity Clothes: Half the time. They are definitely more comfortable now!
Best Moment This Week: Finding out that our little babe is perfect and everything is developing normally and finding out the gender of our baby!
Gender: It's a GIRL!!!
Movement: Yes! She's starting to move noticeably more!
Food Cravings: Sweets!!
Food Aversions: Nothing really
What I Miss: My hips not hurting all the time!
Sleep: Still not sleeping great but I'm getting used to the pain in my hips and back so it's getting a little better.
What I'm Looking Forward To: Getting her nursery started!!
Belly Button: In

Our halfway ultrasound this past week went incredible. My mom, dad, nanny, and Bradley's mom went to with us. The ultrasound tech said that we had a perfect little babe. Her brain, heart, lungs, everything looked great! She said she had big feet, long legs, and she weighs 15 oz. She should weigh 1 lb. in a few days. After our ultrasound we went to the dealership and Bradley bought me a new Kia Sorento for my first Mother's Day! Oh, how I love that man! We seriously can't wait to meet this sweet baby girl!
