20 Weeks! {Halfway There}

How Far Along: 20 weeks 4 days!!!
Weight Gain: I'm not sure now. I've really popped now so I'm guessing almost 10 lbs.
Maternity Clothes: I bought some, but I wear scrubs 80% of the time for my job and I'm still wearing my regular scrubs.
Best Moment This Week: People telling my hair is looking longer and fuller. That's always a compliment. :)
Gender: ???
Movement: I went about 2 days without feeling as much movement and it started to scare me, but it's moving around more every week.
Food Cravings: Cherry Limeades, still.
Food Aversions: Nothing really.
What I Miss: Not having heartburn every day and my hips not killing me.
Sleep: Still alternating on each side because my hips hurt all night long.
What I'm Looking Forward To: Finding out the gender and seeing what this 2D/3D ultrasound will be like.
Belly Button: In

We went to the Fleetwood Mac concert last Sunday and it was awesome! I loved it and Stevie Nicks has always been one of my favorites and she definitely didn't disappoint. I posted this picture on Instagram and she liked it!

House Update!

We bought our house back in August and I've been meaning to put up the before/after pictures of it for a while now. It looked awful when we first bought it. The paint colors were horrid and the house itself was absolutely disgusting. I'm very OCD and it was so hard to find what I wanted in a house when we were looking. This house already had the majority of the things I wanted. With a few updates I knew we could get it looking the way I had imagined it. We still have a few things to finish on it but they are minor.

19 Weeks!

How Far Along: 19 weeks
Total Weight Gain: 6-7 lbs.
Maternity Clothes: I can still wear my regular clothes with a belly band but my maternity clothes I ordered came in and they are just way more comfortable. I'm still trying to wear my regular clothes as long as I can though.
Best Moment This Week: Having co-workers tell me that I actually look pregnant now.
Gender: ???
Movement: Yes, a lot! He/she kicks all throughout the day. It's mainly low and right above my pubic bone.
Food Cravings: None really.
Food Aversions: Eggs
What I Miss: Sleeping on my belly and back.
Sleep: I still sleep on my sides and alternate all through the night. I have to keep alternating because my hips will start hurting so bad and I have to roll over.
What I'm Looking Forward To: Our next doctor's appointment. I'm praying we will find out the gender and I just can't wait to see our baby again!

18 Weeks and A Little Truth

How Far Along: 18 weeks
Total Weight Gain: 6 lbs.
Maternity Clothes: I am currently making my first big purchase of maternity clothes. I don't have any pants that fit without using a belly band so I figured it was time.
Best Moment This Week: Feeling a lot more kicks and movement. :)
Gender: The baby wouldn't cooperate at our last appointment so we have to wait another 3 and a half weeks to find out.
Movement: I've been feeling a lot more movement this week. Some days its a lot for a few hours then some days its only a little bit. They're still not super strong so I'm still just assuming that these little taps going on is the baby.
Food Cravings: Basically the same things I've been craving lately; cherry limeade, cherry tomatoes, and jalapenos.
Food Aversions: Bacon
What I Miss: So this is my truth section! I've really popped this week and to be completely honest, I'm having a hard time dealing with watching my body change even though I love this little babe more than anything. I've always been fairly skinny and I've always had the fear that I would blow up during pregnancy. I know I'm not that big yet, but I have had sort of an emotional reaction. I am happy to be seeing our little babe grow and knowing that he/she is healthy and I will get over these selfish emotions when I get used to seeing this baby bump and actually get some maternity pants that fit. Don't judge, I feel like a lot of women have these types of thoughts and feelings but many don't talk about it.
Sleep: It's been challenging again. I toss and turn all night and my back kills me in the mornings when I wake up.
What I'm Looking Forward To: Our next doctor's appointment. Of course to find out the gender but more to see our little babe close up. I can't wait to see his/her little face and the different intricate body parts/systems that God is so carefully creating inside me.
Belly Button: In, but starting to flatten a little.

17 weeks!

So we went back to the doctor last Monday and we were supposed to find out the gender. Well the little stinker would not open its legs for anything. Our doctor moved the wand all over and shook my belly trying to get the baby to move or stretch or anything and it did stretch its back out but not its legs. So we have to wait another month before we can find out the gender. :( we were bummed when we left but we got good news that the baby is healthy and everything looks good. He said the baby looks really long already with long legs and big hands and feet. He said probably an athlete. :) They also did blood work and that also came back good except that I'm anemic, which I have always been borderline. He put me on iron pills at the end of this past week.

This weekend we went to my parents for Easter and spent Saturday at Silver Dollar City. When we got back I started feeling really sick and weird. I was weak and very sick to my stomach. That night I was in the bathroom on and off all night and had chills and fever. My stomach was having contracting feelings all night. I just figured it was my iron pills making me feeling that way. Well I felt even worse all day Sunday. It's the worst I have felt throughout this entire pregnancy. So early this morning I called my doctor and told him everything that was going on and he said that it was most likely a stomach bug because my pills wouldn't make me feel that way. He said nausea and constipation were common symptoms of the pills but what I had was not from them. Needless to say I've been on the couch all day still feeling weak and tired. No baby bump picture this week because I've been sick but I still wanted to post my chalkboard. I hope everyone had a Happy Easter!
